Eros' work is magical, with an instinctive use of color. Three prominent artists have influenced Eros' artistic vision: Salvador Dali, Fridha Kahlo, and Francesco Clemente. Eros explains, "I'm attracted to these painters because they claim their position and express it through their art." "With Dali, I'm drawn to his surrealism, of course, and to his erotic qualities, too, but I'm also drawn to his humanitarian philosophy. With Fridha Kahlo, it's the autobiographical elements, for sure, and with Clemente, it's his compositions." Eros' murals fall within the surreal/modern realm, with more than a bit of abstraction (especially in the details). |

Completed in 2008, the Mermaids Mural is a private poolside commission painted on a cinder block wall. The finished mural measures approximately 8 feet tall x 60 feet wide. La Llorona Mural
Completed in 2007, La LLorona Mural was
commissioned for the outside of a popular Sunset Boulevard restaurant in the Silver Lake
district of Los Angeles. The finished mural measures approximately 25 feet tall x 90 feet wide.

Limited Edition Fine Art Prints
Arte de Eros will also soon offer large-format Limited Edition Fine Art Prints of details from the murals. Limited to 25 per edition, the images are printed on heavy weight, acid-free, rag paper. Inspired by the methods of the shaman artists of the indiginous Huichol culture, Eros then goes back into the artwork, with a combination of professional artist's materials, so that each print is transformed into a custom painted, signed and numbered, original piece of fine art that stands on its own.
