Eros’ drawings are particularly expressive, a spontaneous interplay between form and content that some say uniquely captures the subjects at hand.
Others say the connections and cross-references between Eros' autobiographical content and his portraits of life are attributed to his own fantasies and fears.
Someplace in between the two may be where the truth is actually found.
That is, what becomes evident is that something we might only admit as our own experience in private has suddenly been exposed for all to see. Provocative, indeed! |
