"My image of Jesus is meant to be a pareidolia, some sort of Rorschach ink blot test. What I mean to say is that the process of creating this painting was like picking out faces or animals in clouds. It's psychological. The painting evolved as new forms made themselves apparent to me in the process.

"For me the historical Jesus, no matter how great a healer he became, was still a man - flesh and blood. He carried all the same hopes, desires and fears, just like you and me.

"Just as the colors and forms spoke to me, the viewer needs to ask themselves what the Flesh of Jesus tells them, as well. What do you see? What do you think? What do you feel? "
