"Religion and spirituality are not often the same thing. Sometimes it seems that religion is more about dictating behavior, about dogma, and not much of an honest approach to the human condition at all. I developed this painting as a comment on that, taking it a step further with the hope that more of a spritual focus will transform not only the individual, but also the world,
